May 10th: The 25th Annual Nags Head Woods Run

The Yuengling Nags Head Woods 5K Run and Village Realty 1-Mile Family Fun Run are held on the second Saturday each May in support of our Kiwanis children’s programs and the Friends of Jockey's Ridge State Park. Last year more than 500 runners, walkers and volunteers took part in the events, which included a post-race beach party and buffet at the Ramada Plaza Oceanfront Hotel.

Come to the beach and join us for our 25th and most spectacular race Saturday, May 10, 2008 as we hold the 25th Annual Nags Head Woods 5K and 1-Mile events.

Friends of Jockey's Ridge Board Retreat

The Board of the Friends of Jockey’s Ridge held their second annual retreat on Saturday, March 1st at a house donated by Village Realty in Nags Head.

Topics of discussion included the 25th Annual Nags Head Woods Run, funding for new summer programs at Jockey’s Ridge State Park, the upcoming membership drive and new membership appreciation programs.
